Experimenting with the art of storytelling using different mediums.

My little cousin is one of my best friends. She's not actually my cousin, she is my neighbour, but I consider her family. She drops by my house in Tuscany about 10 times a day to give me "very important" updates on her life. Once, she came by wearing her dad's pants and hat. Photographing her in this moment was the perfect way to encapsulate her laughter, curiosity and child-like love for life.
The Supermarket Run
Humans eat over 40 pounds of plastic in their lifetime. While not the sole culprits, supermarkets may be feeding us differently than we think. I shot this for fun with friends at the Kralingen lake in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, as a critique of the plethora of single-use plastic in supermarkets. We wanted to challenge the three phases of supermarket engagement: purchase, consumption and payment.
Animal expressions
An expression is speech without words. Capturing them is an art. I like playing with lighting and shadows and bringing a piece to life. I enjoyed analog drawing quite a lot when I was younger and had the pleasure of picking it up again during the calm moments of the Covid-19 pandemic.
Album art
Music is emotion. Cool. Great. Easy. But how do we capture sound with visuals? I designed the album cover for 'King Lara' with Procreate, using graphics inspired by playing cards (think of the "King" deck card). A gentle rap song, its black and white look is a testament to our timeless friendship, and the images feature our shared moments of laughter and friendship.
Playing with podcasts
"Oh no." My fun, light-hearted podcast, from concept to execution. As an (Italian) foodie, I recently got the worst news imaginable. But why be sad when you can make a podcast about it?
Song-writing shenanigans
Why buy a birthday present when you can write your best friend a song? Creatively conceived, co-wrote and co-produced a song for my friend's birthday. "Yo Stephanie" combines love with humour, putting it all to a sick beat.
